DIY: Coasters

I've been in dire need of coasters. I brought one back from Seattle (yes, just one) but inspired by newdressaday as well as my friend and fellow blogger Tales from Washington DC's recent post and I decided to finally do something about it today. I went to a fabric store nearby and picked up a spool of thread and bought a small scrap of fabric. Here are the results:
Not too shabby, right? For the detailing, I used things that I had lying around my house.
